About all we hear from the Senate which is a Democratic majority is Harry Reid. Harry Reid who refuses to pass a budget which is required by the Constitution. The House has passed a budget thanks to Paul Ryan. It has been over three years since the Senate has passed a budget in which our govt is suppose to operate under. I don't hear Republicans or Democrats standing up to do the right thing.
The president is also required to produce a report when a program such as Medicare is facing collapse. He also ignores his Constitutional requirements, which only enables Harry Reid .
Who are these cowards that hide behind Harry Reid and refuse to speak out against the abuse of executive power. I think they have a rude awakening coming, as the American people are not stupid.

GI Joes on backorder
As a kid, my first GI Joe was one memorable Christmas gift. It came with a wooden box which included several weapons and uniform styles. Another memorable gift was a space astronaut with a moon walking vehicle. Major Mason or something like that. I cannot remember the name exactly.
But what I can remember is that being an army man or an astronaut was something to be proud of.
The space program today is underfunded and we face a decade or more of consequences for it. Will
it effect the number of kids who wish to grow up and enter the science world?
And today we are witnessing yet another military budget cut, this one in large magnitude. What will the consequences be? Maybe we face a lack of interest in young people seeking a career in the military. Will we sink so low that our children's children face a military draft in the event of world
conflict? Events like Benghazi could very well have a tremendous effect. America doesn't leave GI Joes on the battlefield.

To the moon
This December marks 44 years since the Apollo 8 orbited the moon for the first time. The journey included a radio silent orbit around the backside of the moon less than a 100 miles above the surface. This accomplishment will go down as one of America's greatest moments witnessed by a television audience. A collective and bold determination by men and women dedicated to the greatness of America and its purpose in this world.
What has happened to that America? At that time we were racing the Russians. We outpaced the Russians and became world leaders in the Space Program. These days we are hitching a ride with the Russians to the International Space Station because we cannot afford the investment.
In 1968 , America took a huge step forward as a world leader and we prooved that there was no task that we could not conquer. Today, America struggles to avoid a financial disaster, one that the world has not seen. A spending machine out of control and out of touch with history. In 1968 God allowed us to sit in his front yard and look back at earth. In 2012 we face challanges that can only be conquered by men collectively with the will of God.

Happy Holidays
I think it's odd how the secular crowd uses Happy Holidays to hide from Merry Christmas. While the Christians are celebrating the birth of Christ, they grab onto the opportunity for Holiday. The Santa Clause party. Time off work, parties, and looking at themselves as some deep thinkers who have cracked the code to all of humanity's questions about purpose and existance.
For people who detest the real meaning of Christmas, they sure do make spectacles of themselves with time off work, gifting, and treating themselves to the season.

Social Insecurity
The best ideas congress came up with to help out working Americans during the great recession was to cut social security tax contributions , extend the Bush tax rates, and to extend unemployment benefits to the unemployed.
I find it curious why they chose to tamper with the social security fund. Hasn't that money been tampered with enough?. Is this another way to kick the can down the road? So if you are contributing less each pay period, are they promising to make up the difference for your account?
Actually the proposal is to use general revenues that the federal govt takes in to fund the difference.
Americans are not demanding the answers. Tax withholding has been the life line to the fund and it is gradually being transformed into a general revenue fund.
Wouldn't it have been easier to go with Bush's proposal to fund individual savings funds?
As long as the govt is in control of it, it will never be secure.

Dreaming of a fiscal cliff Christmas
Im dreaming of a fiscal cliff Christmas. Yes, the president described it as a scrooge kind of Christmas. That's nice. Everyone needs a threat this time of year to make the season bright.
